How you can support the Minnesota News Council To maintain its independence and credibility, the Minnesota News Council seeks broad-based support from all sectors of society except government. Currently, 40 percent of its financial support is received from non-media companies, 20 percent from media organizations, 30 percent from foundations and 10 percent from individuals.
